Neil has been producing & directing TV for years (since his MTV hosting role also came with an Associate Producer credit). In 2015, Neil was hired as the Series Writer for Red Bull’s prestigious Ultimate Rush adventure sports documentary series, taking over from Pulitzer-nominated Hollywood screenwriter Stephen Schiff for Season 4. Unrelatedly, he was Field Producer for Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2016. To balance out the energy drinks, he was producer of Motorsport TV’s exclusive magazine show ‘Inside WorldRX’ from the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy. In 2014 he was Story Features Producer for the host broadcaster of FIFA World Cup, based in Rio de Janeiro. In 2022 he was Live Producer for McLaren’s Formula One live race coverage – Slipstream and Field Producer for Extreme E.

Neil currently works as a producer on SailGP – making a bespoke US-focused highlights show for CBS Sports.

He has produced, written and directed two documentary filmsLe Mans – First Strike (2011) and most recently Lost Stadiums: West Ham Speedway (2023) – a National Lottery Heritage funded film documenting the social and sporting history of the East End’s forgotten sporting stadium, which was demolished in 1972. 

He can happily adapt to any and all of the following roles VT Producer, EVS Director, Live Producer, Field Producer, Series Producer, Highlights Producer, Development Producer…

He is also proven and proficient in dynamic and engaging social media content creation.

As part of an ongoing role as a producer, talent mentor and content creator for the FIA Formula E World Championship, in 2019 he was hired to format and live-produce a pioneering new concept in sports broadcasting – VOLTAGE – a live watchalong for Formula E, streamed live from YouTube Space London hosted by and starring huge influencers, which was shortlisted for a 2019 Broadcast Digital Award. In 2020 he co-produced the esports series FE: Race At Home Challenge, and in 2021 was co-creator and producer of Formula E: Accelerate, the official esports partner series to the World Championship. In 2023 Neil continues to write, produce and work with the talent team on location with Formula E.

May 2021 saw the launch of Future Lab – The Podcast: a big fresh commission, which Neil co-produced with Something’ Else Productions on behalf of Goodwood Festival Of Speed.

He produced, wrote & directed three seasons of his own format “Console Yourself” – an original commission for GINX Esports TV. Varied other producer credits include Goodwood Revival & Festival Of Speed, World Rally Championship, Formula E, Project Cancun, World Touring Car Championship, European Rally Championship, Le Mans 24 Hours, and European Le Mans Series.

He is part of the core writing team for Cleverdis on their show dailies at ITB, Vinexpo & IFA International.
